Update (January 27th) Program of the plenary session on February 2nd, 16:00 - 18:00

A plenary session "Outlook on the Franco-Thai Scientific Cooperation" will be organized within the Symposium. The detailed program (download here) will allow to present the current landscapes for S&T in France and in Thailand and will focus on few issues which might be of interest for future collaborations : innovation, european programs and regional cooperation. 

Update (January 20th) Formation of International Research Networks

During the Franco-Thai Symposium, on Friday, 3rd of February (Room Crystal 1), Prof. Amaret BHUMIRATANA, Director of the Royal Golden Jubilee Ph-D Program, the Thailand Research Fund, will organize and chair three sessions devoted to the formation of International Research Networks as follows:

- Neurosciences (8:30 - 10:30)

- Thalassemia (11:00 - 13:00)

- Energy Issues (14:00 - 16:00)

Concerned participants and researchers are invited to take part to the discussions during these networking sessions. For any additional information, please contact Napapach@trf.or.th.

Update (January 5th) Registration

Participation in the Franco-Thai Symposium is open and free of charge for researchers and members of the academic community. To register and attend the symposium, fill in the registration form and send it back to symposium2011@francothai-science.org. Speakers are not concerned as their registration is automatic. For others, participation in the Franco-Thai Symposium is not possible without prior registration.

Update (January 5th) Venue of the Franco-Thaï Symposium

The Franco-Thai Symposium will take palce at the Century Park Hotel, Bangkok on 1 - 3 of February 2012. The meeting will be held in the Grand Ballroom, Crystal and Sapphire rooms situated on the 2nd and 3rd floors. A shuttle will be organized every day for participants staying at our partner hotel for accomodation, Bandara Suites. The shuttle will depart from Bandara suites at 7:45 am every morning. The schedule for the way back in the evening will be confirmed to the participants by the registration desk. The location of the Venue of the Symposium can be viewed at this link.

Update (November 1st) Postponment of the Franco-Thaï Symposium 

Due to the current flooding situation in Thailand, the Franco-Thai Symposium has been postponed to February 1 - 3, 2012. For any additional information, please contact symposium2011@francothai-science.org.
